At the end of Calhoun Street, where Old Town Bluffton meets the May River, this area invites you to explore and experience the beauty of the Lowcountry.
The Church of the Cross
Located on a bluff overlooking the May River and boasts some of the most incredible views in Old Town Bluffton. The church is well-preserved, with grounds manicured to near perfection. It’s easily one of the most-photographed spots in Bluffton.
“Follow the Fiddlers”
If you like a good scavenger hunt, try to find the 10 fiddler crab statues hidden throughout Old Town. A fun challenge while teaching kids and adults about the local fiddler crabs and ecosystem.
Bluffton Farmer’s Market | Thursdays 12 – 5 PM
A great way to experience the best that Bluffton has to offer, bringing locals and tourists together to bond over live entertainment, local produce, jams, honey, baked goods and prepared foods.
The entire Old Town area, from Calhoun Street to Promenade Street, is considered a “Cultural District” by South Carolina. Meet artists and gallery owners who share a passion for the arts.
