Haig Point Weddings
Lowcountry Destination Weddings on Daufuskie Island
The whole point is…
How about a storybook island set in the Carolina Low Country? White beaches. A charming historic mansion overlooking a great lawn. A lighthouse! No cars, just bikes and electric carts to meander under mossy oaks to golf, tennis and charming homes for the wedding party and guests. This is Haig Point, a fairy tale destination that knows no equal.
Absolute Privacy. Approachable Luxury.
One gradually discovers the magic of this quaint setting, just a short ferry ride from Hilton Head. And there is simply nothing like a wedding where everyone arrives by boat. And the most surprising part is how convenient this entire affair becomes. Drop everything or have it delivered to our dock on Hilton Head and it magically appears in your rooms at the Mansion or Lighthouse, or into the residences arranged for your stay. Effortless.
Easy to get to from … everywhere.
Haig Point is private club and community located on the tip of Daufuskie Island, a gem of the sea islands that is the southernmost in the Carolinas. Located between Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia, Haig Point is easily reached by ferries that run on frequent schedules, as well as water taxis available 24/7. Everyone makes their way around on bikes or electric-powered golf carts. Festive, fun, and absolutely unforgettable.
