These visits are structured and designed for those who are interested in joining as a National member or purchasing real estate. There is a customized itinerary that includes scheduled real estate showings with our real estate agent, an amenity & community tour, dinner reservations, attending club events & meeting other members, allows for free time to enjoy golf, tennis/pickleball, equestrian trail rides, beaching and exploring the rest of Daufuskie Island, and are available for up to three-night stays based on availability.

Where you’ll stay

We think our island community speaks for itself and are proud to show it off. We invite you to visit and enjoy the amenities we have to offer. If you are overnighting on a Discover Visit your accommodations may be at the Strachan Mansion or the 1873 Lighthouse, depending on availability. These historic properties showcase the beauty and elegance of the South in our peaceful setting.

Real Estate Discovery

For those that choose to purchase developer owned property, the package price will be refunded at close. Please inquire for rates and availability. In the message form below please include the number in your party, your preferences of dates, and special requests.

The discovery visits includes:

  • A $150 food and beverage credit
  • private accommodations in either the Strachan Mansion or Haig Point Lighthouse
  • Complimentary ferry, water taxi and golf cart transportation
  • Complimentary parking at the Haig Point private Embarkation Center
  • A private tour of the community amenities & real estate opportunities
