His outstanding homes may be viewed throughout the Haig Point community. A proud member of the prestigious Southern Living Custom Builders Program, Osprey’s beautiful homes are periodically featured in Southern Living Magazine. Chuck Hunter has been in the construction industry for over 40 years, with 18 years dedicated to Haig Point and Daufuskie Island. Chuck enjoys meeting new members, walking their lots, and discussing the unique build/features of their legacy home. Chuck and his wife Nancy have been members of Haig Point for 18 years and counting.

Chris and Susan Goodwin are no strangers to Daufuskie Island and Haig Point. Chris practically grew up in Haig Point, watching his grandfather build custom homes on the island in the 90’s- early 2000’s. He has seen the growth over time and is eager to become apart of that continuing.
The Goodwin Family is ecstatic to be able to play a role in Haig Point’s development and to bring their family along for the ride.
Chris is able to uniquely serve clients by effectively combining finishes customers want with the strength and structure his customers need. He has a keen eye for the aesthetics of a new home but his Civil Engineering background means he pays more attention to the foundation and supporting systems than a typical builder.
Susan and Chris strive to make the home building process as seamless and stress free as possible. Delivering first-class service to clients and realtor partners is a non-negotiable.

The Haig Point Club and Community Association (HPCCA) Board of Directors created the Architectural Review Board to establish and preserve the natural beauty of Haig Point. The Architectural Review Board is the point of contact for the property owner who desires to build a new home, make alterations to an existing home or significantly change landscaping. The HPCCA provides a variety of materials, including documents, forms and schedules, to ensure compliance and consistency of residences.
